New Zealand Property Institute (NZPI) The New Zealand Property Institute was launched in 2000 to take the profession into the 21st century. South African Facilities Management Association (SAFMA) In June 1997, the South African Facilities Management Association (SAFMA) was started in association with the South African Property Owners Association. SAFMA is a member of the Property Council of South Africa (PROCSA) and is presently investigating international links with the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), the British Institute of Facility Managers (BIFM) and the European Facility Management Association (Euro-FM) to provide enhanced contacts for its members.
