Workspace Analytics Management
Manhattan Software has identified the importance of Workplace Analytic Management. Analytics is a sub-sector of Business Intelligence (BI) which also includes data access and reporting.  Facility Management software has previously focused on the ability to access FM data and report either through the Balanced Scorecard framework or by chosing particular key performance indicators (KPIs).  Manhattan believes that the higher-value and more proactive aspect of the top of the BI spectrum, Workplace Analytics now must be addressed for increased performance.

CenterStone produces over 100 standard reports which tell you what has happened or is happening currently, ad hoc reports which tell you specifics about how many assets and where they are, how often something happened to these assets, query or drill downs which help you to determine the root cause of any problem and alerts (red, green, yellow lights) which determine the extent of the problem to be investigated.  It is now time to begin to look at more statistical analysis to determine why something is happening the way it is (why does one building have a higher utilization rate than another), forecasting and extrapolating on what happens if some condition continues, predicting what could happen next and optimizing what is the best that can happen.
